Prof. Dr. Liam Fennessy
AUSTRALIA – RMIT University

Liam é professor na Escola de Design do RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology), Australia. Seus principais interesses de pesquisa incluem a prática e a pedagogia associadas ao desenho industrial; sistemas produto+serviço para a conservação da biodiversidade; mudanças de comportamento sócio-materiais pró-sustentabilidade; inovação na saúde; manufatura guiada pelo Design.

He is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Design of RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology), Australia. His main research interests are industrial design practice and pedagogy, and; Product-service System Design for: the conservation of biodiversity; pro-sustainability and socio-material behaviour change; health innovation, and design-led manufacturing.

Prof. Dr. Martin Tironi
CHILE – Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile

Martín Tironi é sociólogo e professor da Escola de Design da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Chile. Ele realizou seu doutorado na Ecole des Mines de Paris e mestrado na Université Paris-Sorbonne V. É atualmente Visiting Fellow (2018) no Center of Invention and Social Process at Goldsmiths. Sua área de pesquisa trata dos temas Design & Antropologia, Tecnologias Digitais & Mobilidade e Infraestruturas Urbanas. Recentemente publicou o artigo ‘Unpacking a Citizen Self-tracking Device: Smartness and Idiocy in the Accumulation of Cycling Mobility Data’ (com M. Valderrama) na Environment and Planning D: Society and Space. Ele atualmente desenvolve o projeto de pesquisa (Fondecyt, 2018-2021) intitulado “Datafication of urban environments and individuals: analyzing the designs, practices and discourses”.

Martín Tironi is a sociologist and professor at the School of Design, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He holds a PhD from the Ecole des Mines de Paris and a Master’s degree from Université Paris-Sorbonne V. He is currently Visiting Fellow (2018) at the Center of Invention and Social Process at Goldsmiths. His research areas are design anthropology, digital technologies and mobility, and urban infrastructures. He recently published ‘Unpacking a Citizen Self-tracking Device: Smartness and Idiocy in the Accumulation of Cycling Mobility Data’ (with M. Valderrama) in Environment and Planning D: Society and Space. He is currently developing a research project (Fondecyt, 2018-2021) titled Datafication of urban environments and individuals: analyzing the designs, practices and discourses.
